GIC Argentina - Grupo de Intercambio Cultural's Mission Statement: We believe that participating in a cultural exchange is more than simply traveling to or staying in another country. We believe that such exchange is a once in a lifetime opportunity to understand other cultures, increase communication across national boundaries, and allow people to come to understand the similarities that tie us together yet still gain new perspectives on the world. We further believe that by expanding our knowledge of the world we will learn to overcome barriers that so frequently separate us. These goals are particularly important considering current world events. We strive to promote good understanding and communication by means of living and learning together. In order to achieve this, every year we design and coordinate many different educational programs in a variety of areas such as languages, arts and sports. At GIC Argentina, we hope that our work in furthering these goals will contribute in some small measure to greater peace and understanding in the world.

Year Founded: 1995
