Hello Kids 2008

Description: Hello Kids is children's holiday program jointly organized by the Cameroon Association for the Protection and Education of the child (CAPEC), and three youth organizations.
This program which is intended to last for three weeks, shall brings together some 80 orphans/vulnerable Kids, from all the orphanages in and around Yaoundé and some 50 primary/secondary school children between the ages of 7 and 15 years.

Hello Kids 2008

Highlights: Activities featured during "Hello Kids" are Computer studies, painting/crafts, Music lessons, basic knowledge of cooking, photography, sewing, English/French lessons, and cultural activities such as theatres, film shows and lots of recreational activities including varities of games. There will be two excursions; Mvog Mbeti Zoo and Les Brasseries du Cameroun.

Qualifications / Skills Needed: A minimum of 'A'Level

Languages: English and French

Cost Includes: Food, Housing and Registration fees

Experience Required: no

Typical Volunteer Projects: AIDS, arts, childcare/children, grassroots organization, health care, tree planting, volunteering and youth

This Program is open to World Wide Participants. This Program is also open to Families, Couples and Individuals.
