Description:
LWDG-Cameroon is a Non-Governmental Organization base in Cameroon. We are working with the local communities around Cameroon, improving their health, changing their lives through our water projects. We are in need of a volunteer who can work with us in constructing the sand filters, we can train if you do not know anything, the same as we are in need of a female nurse or health facilitator to do the health survey of the communities before and after the filter construction project. A volunteer who can give the education about the sand filter to the community, we can equally teach the volunteer how it is done.
Female or Male wanted. No special qualification required. Accommodation included, feeding twice a day, taxi from and to the airport, drinking water and administrative fee. Contact us for more information.

Cost Includes: We estimate that this will cost 500 Euros per month which includes food (2 meals a day), accommodation, water, airport pickup and back, taxi fare. Volunteer should have enough funds because we will not be in-charge of his expenses like leisure travels, site seeing, etc.

Life and Water Development Group - Cameroon's Mission Statement: The Life and Water Development Group - Cameroon (LWDGC) is a non- government organization working to help the local communities, underprivileged women, and children to improve their health, education and living conditions. It works to identify and remedy the needs of every community in every field to promote their welfare and rights. LWDGC is also engaged in education and training in the areas of HIV/AIDS awareness, youth leadership, and community sustainable development projects.
