Description:
We are an equipment outfitters for local cave tours, we run various jungle hikes and cave tours and are learning to grow our own food and citrus as well as tending a botanical nursery. We are multi-faceted and are looking for flexible people to come volunteer with us in the Belizian jungle.
At Barton Creek Outpost, we have a few functions. The work typically includes grounds keeping, nursery work, gardening, orchard maintenance, equipment and facility maintenance, and kitchen work.
Volunteers usually will not work more than 6 hours a day but that work may be in different shifts, depending on how many volunteers are staying with us at the time. Accommodations are usually a mattress and sleeping bag on the open air deck or at the bunk house.
