Al-Doha's Children Cultural Center's Mission Statement: Al-Doha's Children Cultural Center is a socio-cultural and educational non-profit, non-governmental organization. The majority of the population of al-Doha are refugees from different camps in the West Bank. Because the city had no governmental or non-governmental organizations offering social, cultural or educational services to children, the center was founded to fulfill this role. The center aims to respond to the particular needs of children, as well as of women, and strengthen the sense of community among the residents of al-Doha. It supports strong relationships among women and children in all aspects of life, educationally and culturally in particular. Currently, over 400 children are members of the center.
