Creative Minds Foundation is collaborating with some junior and senior secondary schools in The Gambia for the provision of volunteer teachers for key subject areas like Computer Studies, Mathematics, English language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies, Agricultural sciences, Geography, Physical Education, Arts and Crafts and the likes. Most of the schools in the Greater Banjul and Provinces are in need of effective and qualified teachers in these above mentioned subjects. Volunteers are provided free accommodation in some of these schools in the provinces and will be able to learn new culture and languages.
Highlights:
Volunteers have the opportunity of working with children in a peaceful country rich in African cultural heritage with a unique biodiversity. Volunteers will be conducted on guided tours of the major historical sites while gaining new experiences teaching!
The sun, sea and sand will usher willing volunteers to the smiling coast of The Gambia where everyone smiles all day long! We provide a week long orientation programme to our first time volunteers to immerse them in to "The Gambian culture"
Qualifications / Skills Needed:
-Minimum of Bachelors degree
-A good knowledge of English language
-Ability to work and live alone
-Creative mind to stimulate learning
