Most placements are in or near to Buenos Aires, and volunteers are able to work in the following fields:

Highlights:
As well as our connections with local organizations, the advantage of arranging a placement with Expanish is the extensive support the volunteer has from our established language school. The Expanish building is in the centre of Buenos Aires, and at the centre of the lives of our volunteers. Here they can meet new friends, take advantage of the free WiFi, sign up for activities, and get information about how best to explore the city and beyond. Spanish classes can be taken in preparation for a placement and can usually be continued alongside the volunteer work.
Volunteers will find themselves in situations that are unavailable to the casual visitor or language student in Buenos Aires, in contact with local people and local causes that will give a unique insight into the culture and the city.
