Description:
Volunteer up to 20 hours a week in our Work and Travel office in Beirut, Lebanon helping college students who will be coming to the US for a few months. Help with conversational English as they prepare to move overseas, as well as help to ease their "culture shock". Talk to them about the American culture, what to expect when they travel to the US, how to organize themselves, book a train, bus, hotels, etc. You can be a "cultural ambassador" for the students in Lebanon and help them as they journey into the U.S. Your volunteering efforts will be in exchange for free room and board, and weekends are normally free so you can explore the country and culture of Lebanon in depth.
Highlights:
Tutor students who will be visiting the US using conversational English up to 20 hours/week.
